After my evening with the wonderful BS, she left me with plenty of food for thought. I have since ordered the book she recommended and hope it arrives via royal mail asap. I thought that I was handling the news, that our new home will not be ready until the spring with an element of composure, that is until I had this urge to buy new bed linen in John Lewis & Debenhams….Since being challenged about my choices, in a very consumer culture, this was a definite sign that this news was triggering some sort of unrest within me. Admittedly I have had a few sleepless nights, what with LV’s new bedtime routine and feeling that our home will not be ready for Christmas saddens me. So, how then shall I deal with this minor set back? Once again I find the need to dig deep and muster up some more patience and not dwell on the short term obstacles.

SA, asked if we were ready for visitors? Simply yes...always....
ps. it still smells like an old brewery!
